Babaloo
For the last couple of days I have had to logon every time I access SpamCop. I've tried every option (1 hour, 12 hours, 2 days, 1 week, whatever), but as soon as I get out of SpamCop and then back in, I have to do a logon again. I'm using Netscape 7.2, and all cookies are allowed from SpamCop. The last one set indicates expiry on March 28, but SpamCop acts as if it weren't there. After logging in, everything works normally, but's it's annoying.
swingspacers
There are multiple explanations for this behavior, the most likely being that you have bookmarked an outdated URL. From Mike Easter: After you login, change your favorites or bookmark or link or whatever to the 'new' URL and use that one instead of the old one. Babaloo
They're the same so that's not it, but your answer made me look for a workaround, so now I go directly to the <http://www.spamcop.net/> page instead of the login page where I used to go before, <http://www.spamcop.net/mcgi?action=loginform;returnurl=%2F>. I'm willing to swear my left arm off that this login page is the one I've been using regularly, but there's a chance I somehow managed inadvertently to alter the order in which they appear in my Bookmarks pop-up (you know, click here, click there, and click on the first one without reading...), so I refuse to do any cutting in the near future. swingspacers
Don't worry, you did not mess up your bookmarks inadvertently. I believe that there was a subtle change at SpamCop recently in which the reporting page was switched from <http://www.spamcop.net/mcgi?action=loginform;returnurl=%2F> to <http://www.spamcop.net/>. So your left arm is safe
