Just guessing... maybe clear your browser cache, restart it, and try again.
Everything is back this AM. I did have an oddity which is occurring more and more often (and I do see others complaining about...): the Inbox, which has +/- 11,000 messages, came up with the message "No messages in this mailbox". This time I got them back with a refresh.
Yesterday I had to log in and out two or three times to get them to re-appear. It has been happening once or twice a week. It was more like once a month when it began a while ago.
