Just recently when I attempt to report SPAM from Outlook using SpamDeputy and my SpamCop authorization URL, for example; mailsc.spamcop.net/]http://MySpamcopName%40spamcop.net:MySpamc...sc.spamcop.net/ the reporting process fails.
I just get the standard IE browser error "The page cannot be found" and an error popup from SpamDeputy "Spam Deputy Error: Submission form not found"
Petzl suggested that this is caused by a recent IE update. I guess that security is always a balance between ease of use and fear of use.

I checked and tried workaround to put mailsc.spamcop.net/]http://MySpamcopName%40spamcop.net:MySpamc...sc.spamcop.net/ in my "Trusted" zone but no help. I get same errors.
Can anyone think of any other way that I can continue using Outlook and SpamDeputy to automatically report SPAM that slips through to SC?

Somewhere there, is a regedit fix to make the original format work. I do not have access to the newsgroups where I am, but that is where I found the answer.
I don't understand how this has anything to do with OE and SpamDeputy working together. Doesn't spamdeputy submit the spam via email to the submit.X address?
If you have the reporting web page as a link in OE, then if you remove the username and password parts, the rest of the link works fine and should bring up the login box. IE may even save your username and password for you.

You are best set-up a IMAP connection to spamcop ("imap.spamcop.net" as well as "smtp.spamcop.net") there is no need to "auto-poll" this extra IMAP email connection to spamcop (just uncheck the relevant box)
Doing this allows you to drag (with mouse) spam from your inbox to your held folder for VER reporting (no need for SpamDeputy)
spamdeputy issues are best dealt with their "yahoo support group"

I reccomend that you should no longer use your windows computer to hold passwords!! Instead use a software program (Click for) such as "Password Depot" this can be on your computer or (as I use it) on a USB device to be used on all the computers I have to use (Town libary included)
It is freeware for 20 passwords and itself is protected by two differnet encryption algorythms - This means your passwords can be very long, composed of non-text characters, numbers as well as text.
Doing this allows you to drag (with mouse) spam from your inbox to your held folder for VER reporting (no need for SpamDeputy)
