I tried to register but Spamcop doesn't recognize me now; I'll have to discuss it with the moderators. I last visited about two years ago. Things sure have changed. I only came because there is one particularly egregious spam I got; best wishes to all.

The catch is that this is just a bit over "one" year old <g> This Forum does not use any other "registered account" data if that's what you might be meaning. Registering "here" will include you getting an e-mail back with some verification codes and actions to be taken, so it'd be obvious when you get that accomplished <g>

Thanks.
I just went to the other forums and wasn't allowed to post there, so I'll have to post here.
I went to register, put in a word as my username, then my email address, and sent it.

I got an email within a few minutes giving my username as my email address!
It gave two links to log in.

I tried going back to the window with the Spamcop site (instead of using the links in the email) and I kept getting an error message saying they have no record of my username. When I used the email address as my username, I got the same error message.

When I use either of the links provided in the email, I get a box for me to enter my username and password.

I entered my email address as my username, then my password and that worked.

It has registered my email address as being my username, which isn't what I intended.

Looking at the forum main page now, it says there are 3 guests, 0 Anonymous users and 0 members. Now that I'm a member, should it be 1 member? What's the distinction between "guest" and "anonymous user"?
Thanks.

Something wrong in your tale, sorry. Nothing found based on your posting IP block, 5 people registered in the last 2 days, 4 have been validated, 2 of them posted already, the fifth doesn't match the time line, description of account details, etc., but none of the details match your description. And of the 17 still awaiting validation, none of those match your story either. Not sure what you left out or described differently, but I've got nothing to go on that matches at this point.
