Since you asked. Someone in the thread had asked a specific question, so I responded in the thread with a specific answer (as I hadn't found it elsewhere). If (1) the person had requested email notifications of replies to the topic, that would set it off. (2) since the main method of finding something on the forums is via google search, and more disparate topics generated increase the number of results to be sorted through to actually find one that pertains to your query, i decided to keep the answer in the same topic as the question, and throw a pointer over here. (that, and laziness, as I hit the reply button and typed the answer. I did throw the pointer here though for followup on an FAQ entry based on that post in an appropriate context.)

Moved stuff around, a small edit made, generated a new post ... suggested FAQ entry in the right place, original discussion has a ponter to that entry ...????
