http://blogs.washingtonpost.com/securityfi...raids_hack.html and http://www.sysinternals.com/blog/2005/10/s...tal-rights.html both describe a problem with Sony's new DRM software that gets installed by default in your Windoze PC when you choose to buy a Sony audio CD.
I strongly suggest you 1) either get someone with a linux PC or a Mac to rip the CD for you (Legal, per "fair use" statutes in the Copyright statutes, but possibly illegal per the new DMCA) or 2) never buy a Sony CD again... at least not one of the "Content enhanced & protected" CDs.... From what I've read, it's going to be VERY easy for hackers and other malware providers to take advantage of this copy-protection software that Sony purchased and loads on your PC! Don't let the hackers win!
