Tried to hit the Forum at about 1858 GMT -6 .. couldn't get a response ... checked a couple of other pages, no access .... logged into the server directly, killed some processes running wild, re-booted ..
back up for now ... 1903 GMT -6
ran a check, repair, oprimize on various databases .....

Seriously hope it is not so fragile. I've noticed the response on submitting an edit was "klunky" over the past several days, perhaps symptomatic of whatever the developing problem was. But, during that epoch, the system quite gracefully handled an edit submission I made in the middle of the topic being moved between forums (kudos, it wasn't always so nice).
