I am seeing users that have been E-Mailing me for years and are in my address book are now getting blocked and are going into my held mail.

Is there a problem or is it just my account?
How can I fix this.

...Sorry, I can not offer a definitive answer to this as I am not a SpamCop e-mail account holder, but my guess is that you must whitelist any e-mail addresses that would otherwise go to Held Mail. There may be some "easy" way to whitelist everyone in your address book but, again, as I am not a SpamCop e-mail account holder, I do not know this.

There is not. The whitelist and address book are completely separate functions.

The reason for the block is contained wthin the headers of the messages. If you post the x-spam-* and x-spamcop-* headers, we could explain it if you have difficulty. There is also a FAQ entry here (SpamCop FAQ link toward the top of the page) that explains reading the headers.

E-mail that made its way into the Held folder should have a 'disposition line' that explains why this action happened. What would need to be shown is one that carries both the "whitelisted" and "blocked" lines in the header.

As mentioned by others, the key is whitelisting which is very easy to do with mail that enters the heldmail folder using either WebMail or the VER interface.
You can also manually enter all the addresses in you address book into the white list, but I find it easier to use IMAP to transfer messages that I have received that are not already whitelisted to the heldmail folder and whitelist them from there.
I find that the SpamCop Whitelist works well, but gets increasing difficult to edit as the number of entries increase.
