Another blowout in the sessions Table, MySQL gagging on trying to do a repair, file manipulations didn't fly, and then .... I tossed out another reboot command to bring things up cleanly but the system itself decided to hang ..... add in a bit of mis-communication, some bad assumptions (and I'll gladly take the hit on all of that) .. and a day went by .... fixed the communications problem, JT hit the datacenter, smacked the server around a bit .. he also decided to make a few configuration changes, in hopes of resolving some of these issues.
I'm now working on some other items along the same road, nevermind doing some major cleanup ....
Apologies to all for the downtime, kudos to JT for making the approximately hour drive to the datacenter and the additional work beyond just bringing the server back up ....
