When I try to configure my mailhost, I'm getting the following error.

This occurs after I get the account configuration email, I go to the link, enter the headers and then enter the body and hit process. This proceedure worked yesterday, so it seems to be on your spamcop's end.

When I get that error, nothing gets added to the mailhosts screen and I can not proceed.

...Unless someone else drops by here soon with a suggestion as to what you can do yourself, you will need to contact the SpamCop Deputies at e-mail address deputies[at]admin.spamcop.net. Forward a copy of the account configuration e-mail in your e-mail to them and be sure to identify, preferably in the e-mail Subject, this as a SpamCop MailHosts configuration issue.

I'll agree .... this is an error message from some internal code ... nothing anyone 'here' can do ....
No idea if you've gone upsteam or not, so sending a notice myself.

Thanks. I did email the deputies, but didn't get a response. Looks like WazoO did get a response, so I'll just be patient and try it again later or another day.

Based on Don's reply in MailHost linking one could make the assumption that the 'problem' has been fixed ..???? (of course, one could also assume that Don didn't read the whole discussion and see where I pointed out that it was broken and there had been no notification that it had been fixed yet ..???)

One *could* assume that, but I didn't say anything even remotely like it. And as you know, I usually say what I mean.

That would be a safe assumption. My *only* purpose in reading a thread is to drill down to the heart of the problem and solve it. That should be *everybody's* sole purpose. When I figure out what the problem is, I stop reading. Sometimes I read further, and sometimes I post for the benefit of people other than the user with the problem. My prerogative.

My issue is resolved now, so I do thank everyone who helped.

It is certainly nice that the OP's problem has been resolved. I know assumptions are always dangerous, but for future reference, it could be assumed that that particular error message requires a deputy's attention and 'manual workaround'

The purpose of reading topics for new posters is to find out what to do if their problem has been encountered by someone else and what the resolution was. The purpose of reading topics for regular posters is to find out how to solve a problem so that can be conveyed to new posters with the same kind of problem who haven't found a post that contains the same scenario.

The latter is particularly important as none of the 'user posters' can perform a 'handled by email' solution.

It is always helpful if either the deputy or the OP post that the problem has been resolved - even if it is 'handled by email' - so that regular posters don't waste time trying to solve a problem by guesswork (or assumption), but it is even more helpful when there is an explanation of what went wrong so that the regular posters know what to tell the next person with a similar problem - even if it is only that we(tinw) don't know what's wrong, you will have to contact the deputies and have your problem 'handled by email'.
