I am trying to get my mailto; linking working in Firefox using an addon 'WebMailCompose Plugin' for Firefox 2.0. that tries to pass on the email address, subject line, cc, bcc, using variables.

for example if I were to use yahoo webmail the syntax would be:
CODE

http://compose.mail.yahoo.com/?To=^T&Subject=^S&Body=^M&Cc=^C&Bcc=^B

Can anyone suggest what the equivalent syntax might be for spamcop webmail if it is indeed possible?

thanks in advance

Moving to the "Software Issues" Forum section, as this really isn't an 'issue' with the SpamCop.net e-mail account / system ..... I see this as a question about manipulating some third-party product to do something a bit unique .....

It would seem easier to try the "Beta SMTP server" rather than try to get around the Web-mail interface provided by the Horde/IMP tool-set.

Can you elaborate as to what the "Beta SMTP server" is please?

One of those "Pinned" entries that you would have seen had you scrolled down the existing page in the SpamCop E-mail System & Accounts Forum section .... the place where you posted this query originally ....

I not sure this could work with the SpamCop webmail service.

But, for what its worth, the URL for a webmail message is in the form:

CODE
http://webmail.spamcop.net/horde/imp/compose.php?to=FIRSTNAME+SURNAME+%3CEMAILADDRESS%3E

You may be able to use:
CODE
http://webmail.spamcop.net/horde/imp/compose.php?to=FIRSTNAME+SURNAME+<EMAILADDRESS>

I think you'd have to be logged into the webmail service to get this working. No guarantees dry.gif
