It seems a time to change user tactics in the spam game.

There's a feature where senders of inbox email are automatically sent a confirmation email. They can click a link, and put themselves on my whitelist. All other mail, I never see.

That was a Spamcop options once I'm pretty sure. I can't find that option anymore, was it dropped, if so why?

I know I've seen other services that support this, any recommendations?

This is typically called "Challenge / Response" .... yes, SpamCop used to do it, Julian saw the flaw in the logic, and killed it off (years ago) .... Comments and thoughts .. please see http://forum.spamcop.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=234
