I have altered the scope to not include the header and also to not scan the ip addresses but to no avail.

Have you also raised this with http://www.surbl.org/ ?

there is no surbl forum (which I prefer over lists)

Virtually everyone here is simply a user of SpamCop which has no DIRECT relation with any surbl. The SpamCop surbl uses data provided on a page provided by SpamCop, but there has never benn any official partnership between the two.

I am am also aware of that.

When I asked if you were an admin I meant as an admin of an email server like myself.

Nope, if I had answers I would give them. Just noting item 3. in http://www.surbl.org/news.html, also:

"Contacts

* You can reach the SURBL community on our mailing lists." (Okay, you prefer forums/BBs, so do "we")

There's sure to be other SURBL users in the membership here, some of whom may see this topic - just they're not falling over each other to answer just yet.

Thank you for clearing that up. Yes, email admin is one of the many hats I wear... for about a dozen domains at 3 sites. And no, we do not use surbl's. We use an external service called Postini to filter our spam and store the rejects.

That is why I didnt bump up my post.
