I tried to use the whitelist using spam Assasin which is included in my web host. While we are aware of the risks of putting Yahoo on whitelist, it is something we have to take since many clients use yahoo mail.
I'm accessing spam Assasin through CPANEL and I'm not sure where the actual configuration file is but I'm still looking. My web host has washed their hands on this problem.
We put in the domain 'yahoo.com' in the whitelist. Some of the blocked emails are now being received however others are still being blocked. Any idea on what causes this?
I know our webhost uses SpamCop but if I put *yahoo.com or the IP addresses that are blocked by SpamCop in the whitelist of spam Assassin, would it supersede the blacklist of the host?
