As others have asked, since the Held folder will vanish, what happens to mail filtered as spam ? Could just have *** spam *** added to the subject of course

I don't think going down to 1 helps much. Curiously my spam rate has just doubled from a rate of 20/month to 40/month but all the extras have been stopped by xbl or SA=3

If you now whitelist the false positives and blacklist all the country codes (that you don't have senders using) things should improve a bit more. Most of the leakers I see can't be stopped without triggering yet more false positives.

As noted we to need to look at the SpamAssassin hits for those that got through ('Leaked') it may be that setting the level to 2 will help. Somewhere you can find my notes on How I use SpamCop mail. So, if this is typical, even setting the level to 1 wouldn't help you much. If you have Block All checked then surely the SpamAssassin limit doesn't do anything ?

Interesting, rather. The =4 is a transcription of X-spam-Level: **** and the rest depends on what level you have set plus whitelisting and any other checks.

Yes everything seems to be working right now and my inbox refilled first with new mail and then with old. I agree, no tweets or non-auto response to 'problem'.

If you mean the problem is fixed, it isn't. I just got it for the first time 20 minutes ago and have filed a Problem. It came and went and one other folder that was claimed to be empty is now OK.

Arranging to cc: these reports to a spare mailbox might clarify timings etc.

But do they operate any mailing lists at all ? Thus AOL users are notorious for reporting subscribed mailing lists as spam because unsubscribing was "too difficult".

Same here, nothing from my POP accounts in the last 15 hours. Direct to CQmail and forward works.

I get very little "direct-to-CESMail" so I would certainly notice spam.

As I understand it email addresses whether from From: Reply-To: or in the body, are (now) never used as a subject of a report. So if you think they should be reported in a particular case they need to be looked up and added as an extra addressee.

What are you saying ? Unless the accounts that you are POPing overflow or CQmail POPs emails then loses them who needs to retry ? Got duplicates and triplicates but nothing lost as far as I can tell.

Unfortunately not. See the message about reconfiguration of a server. Some mailing list stuff arrived, often duplicated or triplicated and ordinary mail but nothing in the last three hours.
