  11. The source of the spam is 109.201.8.186. The spam did not originate from utu.fi. This is the problem with the parse: smtp-03.utu.fi looks like a dynamic host, untrusted as relay We are working to get that fixed. The fix should be published soon. All you can do for now is delete the spam and move on. - Don D'Minion - SpamCop Admin - - Service[at]Admin.SpamCop.net - .

  18. The account you are talking about is a spam reporting account, not an ISP services account. If you will EMAIL the account login username and the IP at issue, I will be happy to look into this for you. 20. >- 1. Unsolicited (I didn't request it explicitly or implicitly); and, >- 2. Bulk (the same message was sent to many people at once). That is UBE. Unsolicited Bulk Email. It includes religious and political emails that don't have any commercial componet. You should add.... Unsolicited Commercial Email. "Bulk" is not part of that definition. - Don D'Minion - SpamCop Admin - - Service[at]Admin.SpamCop.net - .

  22. What IP are we talking about? I'll look into it. It takes more than just one person reporting to put an IP on our list. SpamCop can't force anybody to do anything. All we do is send complaints. - Don D'Minion - SpamCop Admin - - Service[at]Admin.SpamCop.net - .
  23. >- Do I Have To Have All Mailhosts Configured? You should register all of the services that supply you with an email address. It shouldn't be a lot of trouble. Returning the configuration test emails uses the same procedure that you use to report spam. - Don D'Minion - SpamCop Admin - - Service[at]Admin.SpamCop.net - .

Seemingly incorrect too old to file message

SpamCop takes the date from the "Received" line containing the source IP. In this case: http://www.spamcop.net/sc?id=z5565604476z1...bc28c374a0cbd5z Received: from 90.132.11.8 (unknown [198.143.159.154]) (using SSLv3 with cipher DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA (256/256 bits)) (No client certificate requested) by mtaout-ma06.r1000.mx.aol.com (MUA/Third Party Client Interface) with ESMTPSA id 054F5E0006DE for <x>; Wed, 11 Sep 2013 12:42:30 -0400 (EDT) - Don D'Minion - SpamCop Admin - - Service[at]Admin.SpamCop.net - .

    Spamcop devnulling Valid Reports?

abuse[at]hostwindsdns.com appears to be bouncing our email. I reset the bounce counter to see if the bouncing has stopped. SpamCop won't send mail to an address that bounces. The type of report (source IP vs URL) you're asking SpamCop to send is irrelevant. SpamCop will send the report unless there is a specific reason not to, such as an admin prohibition against sending mail to the address, or bounce problem. - Don D'Minion - SpamCop Admin - - Service[at]Admin.SpamCop.net - .
