    No refunds???

I, too, received a (delayed) response when I inquired about a refund. Having just renewed two accounts mere days before this announcement, I turned to Paypal for resolution. First step was trying to "work with the seller". OK, no response from the seller after I questioned their "no refunds" reply, so I asked that it be escalated. Paypal gave CES until 9/1 for a response - NO response from CES by that date. Paypal have now resolved in my favor, and will be reversing the payment - "if" money is there to do so (and I seriously doubt it). Otherwise, the CES Paypal account will be frozen (and a empty, frozen lake is still just empty). I know people get in over their heads sometimes financially, but what CES did - to take money when they had knowledge that they were shutting down - is criminal. The fact that Spamcop/Cisco allowed integration between them and CES shows some degree of culpability on their part. Sadly, I think the Spamcop reporting system is toast. A 15+ year Spamcop Mail user until the bitter, bitter end.

    Very poor Spamcop stop rates

Where in the header do I find that score (I "think" I've got it, but just want to be sure).

    Very poor Spamcop stop rates

I, too, am getting more spam in my Inbox than in my Held Mail. The only spam being "caught" are the typical "your rich Nigerian Uncle has died" and the "low, low loan rates". The ones for used cars, cure diabetes, HARP, etc., are ALL going to Inbox. I have ALL blacklists checked, and no settings have changed. I am getting 15-20 of these daily, all at one time. Maybe 8-10 in Held Mail. Not sure a paid Webmail account is worth it after 10+ years.
  4. I do(did) have greylisting enabled. I will try a while without it, and hope for the best. Thanks.
  5. Over the past few days (until today) I have not been receiving any mail from my personal account (raydragon[at]wyrm.com) to my spamcop account (raydragon[at]spamcop.net), nor has my partner (brwalker[at]spedex.com/brwalker[at]spamcop.net). We each did receive "some" today, but my mail server admin said mail was being delayed at the spamcop end: May 31 09:30:15 wyrm sendmail[1988]: p4VDBw5Z001817: to=<brwalker[at]spedex.com>, delay=00:18:17, xdelay=00:00:01, mailer=esmtp, pri=391659, relay=mx2.spamcop.net. [64.88.168.71], dsn=4.2.0, stat=Deferred: 450 Delivery delayed temporarily (#4.7.1) Thanks.

    SC Reporting Down?

Perhaps a system reset needs to occur: Tracking message source: 62.56.128.131: Routing details for 62.56.128.131 Report routing for 62.56.128.131: abuse[at]ipplanet.net abuse[at]ipplanet.net redirects to abuse[at]ipplanet.com Sorry, this email is too old to file a spam report. 7. I have a spamcop mail/reporting account, and my roommate also has one. On my reporting account, 90% of the time I get either unable to resolve: Tracking link: http://www.vhufeaseminsa.com/ [report history] Cannot resolve http://www.vhufeaseminsa.com/ or it resolves, but does not provide any option to report to the spamsite host. HOWEVER, when I enter the same source into my rommie's account, it resolves AND provides an e-mail to report to the spamsite host. Another weirdity is that, in the example below, gmail is not one of my roomies mailhosts (although our ptimary e-mail accounts share the same mailhosts, and I still experience the same problems reporting in my account but not in his). An ideas? This has only sarted happening in the past fw months. Too many links, links ignored

Rookie Cop: Sarge, we finally caught that Serial Killer! Sarge: Sorry kid, we have to let him go. Rookie Cop: But why, we have plenty of evidence. Sarge: Well, as you know, the Dept. was recently taken over by SpamCop, and they say too much evidence requires ignoring ALL of the evidence - let the killer go. Criminals who work the system will continue to do so until the system is changed. "Too many links" requires the system be changed. Ray Dragon A mostly-happy Spamcop user who waits for the day Spamcop is no longer needed.
