  1. Not necessary, a gentle, under chin tickle, has them purring like kittens๐Ÿ˜ฝ Late, never, busy ow, did notice your absence, glad you're back & in such fine form!
  2. "SC now tries to cache "look-ups" I know. I'm trying to work out, if permission was granted, would the "allow" question be resolved? & referring back to Master's post: "new feature", is the "allow" a new feature or an enhancement/fix to an already exisitng SC process? ๐Ÿ™
  3. Hello Norbet, Sorry it's taken a while to get to this (partly thinking/pondering) I parsed using SC NOMAILHOSTS account result: https://www.spamcop.net/sc?id=z6552696162zc69a145cc755ec5c7e058df9f70058bbz & I then did as you did, removed . result: https://www.spamcop.net/sc?id=z6552701693z0f0a16068c0f32eb79bf213e6cee702az Both methods result in a successful parse 85.119.145.133 still@mits.ru 54.183.130.144 abuse@hootsuite.com --------------------------------------------------------- So, unless I'm mistaken, we've concluded the parser can process if the . is removed and or can process using a NO-MAILHOSTS configured account. To SCFA & SCA (still ๐Ÿค” if they're one and the same or just share a ๐Ÿ›) **Is the . issue a real SC issue & fixable or a perceived issue? ** What is it about SC accounts with MAILHOSTS configued that SC is unable to process spams with . issue? Surely , as . issue keeps presenting, it fit's the criteria for: attention/review, at the very least? ๐Ÿ™G๐Ÿฆ—H๐Ÿ™ ---------------------------------------- Just for interest: Digging (deeper) 85.119.145.133 https://www.abuseipdb.com/check/85.119.145.133 abuse@selectel.ru on 54.183.130.144 https://www.talosintelligence.com/reputation_center/lookup?search=54.183.130.144 = ow.ly = abuse@amazonaws.com https://www.virustotal.com/gui/url/8ef4ed0e21da1546109e27b2b861d6ddf0bcccc8fa5a52f45866699ee3ed5db1/detection https://www.virustotal.com/gui/ip-address/54.67.120.65/summary
  4. Thanks Petzl. ------------------------------------------------------------- Surely the way to circumvent false DoS attacks is to define the "allows"? Ok, I'll bite, who asks Spamcop "owners" to chk with RIPE, is that SCFA or SCA or ? or does dummy (G๐Ÿฆ—H ) just ask another dummy question? G๐Ÿฆ—H Having a groundhogday
  5. Thanks Master, G๐Ÿฆ—H wasn't clear if the "allow" was a "new feature" request or a "fix exsisting" SCParser.. G๐Ÿฆ—H thought "fixes" were facilitated by SCA, clearly G๐Ÿฆ—H knows nothing. Specific to the "allow" request: does it have value that matches the objectives of SC? G๐Ÿฆ—H ๐Ÿ™ Who is "One" Petzl? G๐Ÿฆ—H ๐Ÿ™
  6. Hello GnarleyMarley, Thanks for posting back and the information Last 1. " Why not submit to SCA?", I meant why not contact SC/Admin and ask them to implement automation of the "allow for whois referral when ARIN relocates an entire range to APNIC or RIPE". Back later for the remainder of your post, 1st StateofOrigin tonight, offline FAW. ๐Ÿฆ—
  7. Hate to be a KnowItAll Hank, but, it's a fact! G๐Ÿฆ—H ๐Ÿ™
  8. Exactly G๐Ÿฆ—H's ๐Ÿค”. That sure is one pretty pic! G๐Ÿฆ—H ๐Ÿ™
  9. RobiBue, STOP! ๐Ÿฆ—s bathroom is not close enough, it's pissing down, the dryer's no longer used, (pathetic attempt to STOP ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ”ฅ), finding smalls to fit ๐Ÿฆ— is as difficult as accomplishing the previous. I'm on ๐Ÿฆ— knees here, for a ๐Ÿฆ—, that's a terrifying position! IF you have a โค๏ธ, have a โค๏ธ ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™‡โ€โ™‚๏ธ!
  10. Hello GnarleyMarley, Sorry it's taken me a while to get back to you. Now I get it. "allow for whois referral when ARIN relocates an entire range to APNIC or RIPE", it's the most logical "allow" I've seen in a while. Why not submit to SCA? & (I'm sure) you'll have seen the above posts from our residents clowns? All I have to say about those is: "look what YOU started!" Best! ๐Ÿ˜‚G๐Ÿฆ—H๐Ÿ˜‚

    Abbreviations/acronyms

Hello Robibue, THANKYOU!! It's now on loop! ๐Ÿ™G๐Ÿฆ—H
  13. Would it be possible for all of us (who use abbreviations) to either: post the "unabbreviated word/s", "once" in the post or have a table where all used abbreviations/acronyms are used. Grasshopper has a bugger of a time searching (net) for abbreviations/acronyms during researching a SC issue where a SC member is asking for help & we're all pitching in with solutions/observations/comments... Please? ๐Ÿฆ—
  14. ๐Ÿ˜ฒWouldn't carry that in your backpack! G๐Ÿฆ—H ๐Ÿ™
  15. Trivial/MWMT, wonder where he is now? (Not really), rude little sod! Can G๐Ÿฆ—H be nosy Hank & ask what you did with: Acoustic coupler, vt-100 terminal/300 baud modem? Re Richard's current fix, there's obviously a "fixable" issue, if SCF track it then the next poor buggar & the one after that and the next & so on will know, "go straight to Fleet St, don't dally.... " Without the info, well....? I don't understand why Richard would elaborate on one fix and not another? I don't understand if the current fix is "Hank SC account" specific or more general? I don't understand? "Lessons in humility, these experiences are", indeed! PeaceLove&MungBeans! G๐Ÿฆ—H ๐Ÿ™
  16. Thanks for posting back Hank๐Ÿ™ & thanks Richard!! Added what in? I'm "assuming" from Richard's reply, whatever he modified was DIFFERENT to what he modified pre "Friday at 05:25 AM"? I wish he'd told us? I'm confused? I hope the: "Apple network setup changes" information is disseminated? This is annoying. I'm unsure about the "Lesson", yes, certainly SCA seem to be able to "fix" everything that can be fixed, however (I'm) reluctant to have them as 1st go to, if only for the fact, I'm not sure their skills are put to good use fixing everything. I subscribe to: "we all fix as much as we can, escalate the unfixable". It's a method that's worked... I support anyone getting help, however, if we knew what was fixed, we could guide future OPs: "go straight to square-#1, do not delay!" Happy but notG๐Ÿฆ—H ๐Ÿ™
  17. What happened? Was it fixed? By whom? How? Do you know Petzl? Share please? G๐Ÿฆ—H ๐Ÿ™ Same original SCTURL, before "it's working now", I've been trying to parse thru NO MAILHOSTS acc = https://www.spamcop.net/sc?id=z6551860330zfe88fc64aeb0939e3fa91be48398a4d5z - no date? What have I buggered up, can't find the missing date field? Anyone please? G๐Ÿฆ—H ๐Ÿ™
  18. ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿคฌ Hmmm, Hank! "Oh LORD" indeed, where I'm from we use a different expression, in fact, upon reading your post - G๐Ÿฆ—H

ยฟQuรฉ? Master? Is that english? "acronym", thank you Master! I quite like "morse", in fact, they'll always be "morse" to G๐Ÿฆ—H. Has a certain appeal!

    Grateful thanks Master! ๐Ÿ™G๐Ÿฆ—H
  21. Thank you Gnarlymarley, I appreciate the extra info & now I understand! I'm going to post about your post shortly, in the interim, may I ask please: "my whois program", which program are you referring to please? Thanks! G๐Ÿฆ—H
  22. Hi Norbet, May we have some SC Tracking URLs please? From the top of the SC Parser: Looks like: https://www.spamcop.net/sc?id=z6550829312z28b288e7765aed3250e66e22878787e8z & are you using a SC account with MAILHOSTS configured? Please let us know? Thanks! G๐Ÿฆ— H
  23. Ok, I write this from a "I know nothing" position.... And, i'm throwing it out to all, (I'm not questioning the validity of the post GnarleyMarley๐Ÿ™‚) I thought "I refuse to bother" statement was not bc a fix was required but bc, for whatever reason, SC had made a determination that, for x specific address, no escalations, could/would have a positive result? But, the 2nd bit of the post, I need some GM input please, I don't understand: "ReferralServer: whois://whois.apnic.net", is this just specific for "apnic", or? Nor: "I believe this is what it would detect in the code", is there more? Apologies in advance if I'm missing something obvious! G๐Ÿฆ—H
  24. Can you explain a bit more please GarlyMarly? (cause I'm not following). The table table/pinned topic I'm "promoting" is for email addys that SC NEVER identifes and NEVER will: addresses like FTC, IDPhishing, Petzl's mentioned a few good ones, Certificate agencies (I think) I keep meaning to ask him if there's more? The pinned topic/table idea came about bc "you" made a comment along the lines of "useful info" that "we" need to share, "we" being everybody and also, I stumble across email info in the forum every other fortnight... so I figured, rather than having to do laborious searches everytime I try to remember "what was that really helpful x?", a topic/table would sort the stuff๐Ÿค” I don't know that anyone other than you & me thinks it's got legs so I might just create a ss and when it's done share it & if needs updating do that whenever required... Anyway, let us know please? Thanks G๐Ÿฆ—H ๐Ÿ™
