  1. Well you can hope and cross your fingers. But I still would not count on it.
  2. You are right, salamandir, that there weren't many reminders. I spent nearly a week changing email addresses everywhere to move me away from using my Spamcop address. Been using my Spamcop email address for 10+ years. I figure that forwarding my spamcop to somewhere else will be good for a year. After that you are SOL. So changing your email address with everyone should be a priority. I figure everywhere I have a password is a place that also has an email address on me. Even then, there were quite a 'password free' places I needed to update. It may still take a year to find stragglers. After all this careful email address handling I've been up to.. I come across punk teenagers who decry such things as 'Who uses email anymore' Their world must be very small.

    [Resolved] relay denied

It's working now, and mail sent three days ago has suddenly start getting through.
  5. What changed? Just in today, referring to mail I sent 5 days ago. This is the mail system at hostsmtprelay1.cesmail.net. I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could not be delivered to one or more recipients. It's attached below. For further assistance, please send mail to postmaster. If you do so, please include this problem report. You can delete your own text from the attached returned message. Unable to report

http://www.spamcop.net/reportheld?action=heldlog is now saying "Cannot log into IMAP mailserver as blahblah[at]spamcop.net" for me as well.

    Dead since yesterday's update?

Same here. I go directly to http://www.spamcop.net/reportheld?action=heldlog and all I get is Cannot connect to imap server: Operation timed out

    [Resolved] Fuel for Email Users

My first thought was 'what the heck is Cisco doing with Shell, Exxon, Sunoco, etc?' The whole term 'fuel' made no sense to me as a Spamcop email user.
  9. The Held mail is not working for me either.

    [Resolved] Held Mail doesn't delete

That was clue I needed! Manually adding a Trash folder cleared that right up. I didn't realize about that other URL. Mind you I see it requires you to log on first. But then your WEBMAIL tab doesn't have the logon that mine does. Interesting, thanks...
  11. So I go here: http://www.spamcop.net/reportheld?action=heldlog 1) choose action of 'Queue for reporting and move to trash'. 2) I select everything I want reported. 3) Release/Delete selected messages Thing is, it gets to the queue but NEVER GETS DELETED Whats up with that?

    [Resolved] Missing Blank line

Fantastic!!!! That did the trick, and you made me learn something!

    [Resolved] Missing Blank line

Great! I suspected that, but was unsure.. In the example above, I found 'Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable' in there twice once for plaintext and once for an HTML version so I entered two blank lines. I'm getting closer. Now the spamcop reporting tells me: Finding links in message body Recurse multipart: Parsing HTML part error: couldn't parse head Message body parser requires full, accurate copy of message More information on this error.. no links found It might be the best I can get it. Does anything in below except look fishy? ------=_NextPart_000_0023_25_01CB53A9.185A2227 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=3DContent-Type content=3D"text/html; charset=3Diso-8859= -1"> <META content=3D"MSHTML 6.00.6000.16788" name=3DGENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT size=3D2 face=3DArial>call free monday luck little gotta amaz= ing kids them twurl.nl through</FONT></DIV> Thanks for your help!
  14. I am starting to see more and more spam where there is no blank line separating the internet headers from the body. Outlook 2007 does show a subject, and when viewing the internet headers you can see the the entire email... both plain text and html multipart sections. The Spamcop Email system does correctly identify it as spam, and thats good. But I would like to manually report this spam as well, and the parser gives up. so I thought I would add the blank line myself. But I don't seem to be placing it in the right place. Ideas? For example see: http://www.spamcop.net/sc?id=z4487485072zd...c2a3b32602898dz I get NO report IDs so I can't be more specific without actually posting the email here in this post.
