    Delays

If you'd bothered to read the FAQs etc. before posting you would realise that SpamCop blocks NOTHING. SpanCop can and does not block anything. Read the FAQs and come back when you have an INFORMED question.

So your issue is with Lunar Pages. If you are their customer then complaion lodly - to them, as they re the only people who can do anything about it.

So stop the spam spew from that server.

    Are you blocking google???

It's quite possible that one of google's many, many smtp servers has found its way onto the blocklist but without an IP no-one here can help further. The blocklist is entirely automatic and de-lists when the spam stops.

  6. This SpamCop. APEWS is a completely different organisation. No-one here can help you with APEWS. Sorry
  7. Hi Hussam, That IP is not, and (as far as I can tell) never has been listed in the SpamCop blocklist. Its Senderbase reputation is good and there has been only one (human) report in the last 90 days. Why did you think it might be listed?

    My server is blocked?

The OP refers to 'one of our servers' so I rather assumed the OP was in charge of the server

    My server is blocked?

spam from your server is hitting spamptraps. See the FAQ on spamtraps. 62.101.93.132 listed in bl.spamcop.net (127.0.0.2) If there are no reports of ongoing objectionable email from this system it will be delisted automatically in approximately 8 hours. Causes of listing System has sent mail to SpamCop spam traps in the past week (spam traps are secret, no reports or evidence are provided by SpamCop) Express-delisting is not available Listing History In the past 83.4 days, it has been listed 16 times for a total of 18.1 days What have you done so far to clean up your server?
  10. Derek T

    Apparently I'm spamming myself

The short answer is that you weren't. There are no recent reports, no history of listing, nothing to suggest that that IP has EVER been on the SCBL. The error message is just plain wrong: for one thing no DOMAIN has ever appeared on the SpamCop list - it doesn't 'do' domains. The error message is just plain malformed. Personally I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

    [Resolved] Yahoo Mail blocked?

Don has given you the bad news about Yahoo mail. The good news is that Yahoo have (according to Senderbase) 5,507 email servers. Of these only a few will be on the block-list at any one time so it's not a case of "hanging around for (at least) 24 hours every time someone uses Yahoo to send spam" 99 times out of a hundred (or more) your mail will be sent through one of the servers that is not on then blocklist. You were just unlucky this time. The wisdom of using a free, spammy, mailserver for important business mail is a whole other question.
  14. 1. SpamCop blocks nothing. 2. You are attempting to appeal to a mathematical algorithm. 3. You would know 1 and 2 if you bothered to read the FAQ and all the other things that are put in your way before you make a senseless first post.
  15. Actually, SpamCop blocks nothing, it is your web-host that is doing the blocking. It is therefore very disingenuous of them to say that it's not their problem. SpamCop does NOT recommend using its list in the blocking mode but it's a case of their server, their rules. Does you host offer a whitelisting service? If not, you could try using a third-party email service like, say, SpamCop
  16. This IP is NOT listed in the SpamCop BL and senderbase says that the reputation is 'good'. Ultimately, it is only your ISP who can fix this by being more proactive in disconnecting infected customers, or you could change ISP to one that is more proactive.

    Spamcop Blocking email sending

What did you do to fix the spam problem before requesting delisting? I ask because senderbase still shows that IP as spewing spam and now listed in three blacklists. Try fixing the problem, reading the FAQs and come back if there is still something you need help with.
  18. The short answer to your last question is 'yes' but I don't see how that would help. It is the warnings being sent to your ISP that are the problem, if I've read your post right. Only they can ask spamcop not to notify them. FWIW, spamvertised sites are only informed as a courtesy because there is nothing that say Pfizer can do to stop pill-forgers using their name and their domain. Spamvertised sites are not part of the blocklist, spamcop is clever enough to track down the IP of the injection point of the spam and that is what appears on the blocklist. I think your ISP is worrying unnecessarily.
  19. Yes you have the right 'picture' of what is happening. There are other solutions possible: Change your mail service provider to one that does have a clue, the person you spoke to clearly does not. OR Investigate your mail settings to see if you can whitelist your two friends. If not see my first suggestion

    IP 193.63.211.19 is blocked

First all, welcome to the forum and thank you for 1. Wanting to sort the problem and reduce spam and 2. taking the trouble to read the FAQ and do some research before posting. It is very much appreciated. I'm afraid I can't help very much. I have checked human reports for the last ninety days and there are none which means that your problems are being caused ONLY by spam-trap hits. These are top-secret and only the admins have access - when they reply to you they will tell you what TYPE of hits but no specifics that could identify the spam-trap. Do you use any mailing lists that might be dodgy? Are all your opt-ins confirmed? It may help you know that Ironport Senderbase shows a 114% increase in traffic from that IP in that last day. Can you explain that in terms of legitimate use? If not then a trojanned machine is most likely - typhoid-Mary lap-top owned by the chief exec? Until the admins get back to you (and I think they are on Pacific Time but IMBW) then I hope this might be of some help in your quest.

I suspect a mal-formed error code from your recipient's server. Unfortunately SpamCop is often 'blamed' when it has nothing to doo with the problem, because the receiving server is mis-configured. But then you said a 'few' organizations so I'm puzzled.

Remove me from the spam list

If you'd bothered to read the FAQ and 'Please Read Before Posting' you'd already know that SpamCop is entirely automatic. When the spam stops, the server is de-listed. Simple as that.

    [Resolved] spam from 85.214.71.188

This is guess-work based on the listed reports. There seems to have been no spam from there until about 7 this morning (GMT) and it stopped before 9. My theory is that an infected machine was plugged in, SpamCop told them and they did something about it, fast. If so there's no need for it to continue being listed: SpamCop is working as it should and the server-owner acted as s/he should to stop the run. SpamCop automatically lists and de-lists very quickly in response to circumstances. IOW this is how it /should/ happen!
