    Gmail's server blocked

    I really don't see the big fuss.. It is (for the most part) a free service. If you don't like it.. don't use it. I'm using postfix. What I did was add a check_client_access hash:/etc/postfix/exceptions line to the mynetwork = line.. Then, just add "gmail.com OK" to the file, run postmap exceptions, restart postfix.. and voila... you are now making gmail.com an exception to the spamcop rule. The problem with this is that anything claming to be from "gmail.com" will be allowed through. Although, I haven't seen any false positives yet (been running like this for a couple weeks).
