  1. I don't seem to be receiving email this morning. I use the forwarding system where mail sent to address "A" gets forwarded automatically to SC, then passed to address "B". I've sent test emails from my work account, sending to my "A" address the mail hasn't arrived. Sending directly to "B" it arrives immediately. Nothing in my held mail folder [at] webmail.spamcop.net Anyone else having problems? Any chance support folks could have a peek? [edit - self-quote removed] Oh crud. Disregard this. I just figured it out. I managed to leave my mail client running at home. BLONDE DAY TODAY!
  2. Here are some samples from this morning if it helps. http://www.spamcop.net/sc?id=z1524800773z6...4325f748c4bf53z http://www.spamcop.net/sc?id=z1524800775zb...c01245f04613a1z http://www.spamcop.net/sc?id=z1524800778zf...ba16b039be6ab3z http://www.spamcop.net/sc?id=z1524800779zf...32c7676b38af55z http://www.spamcop.net/sc?id=z1524800784ze...8286ddc8ee6c44z
  3. Actually, my settings are already tighter than that. I'm using all of the black lists and SA is set at 3. My personal whitelist is pared down to the absolute minimum (and I'm not on it) as well. Oh well. Thanks anyhow!
  4. I use Spamcop for mail forwarding, ie. Mail comes in to my domain, gets auto forwarded to SC, then filtered and passed back to another account on my domain where I check it. Works well, stops about 98% of my spam and very few false positives. Probably everyone around here has noticed the recent upswing in Russian spam. Is there a way to blanket block anything using the cyrillic text type (language? charset?) with the way I use SC? I report it all, so it's getting less and less, but usually every morning I wake up to 5-6 junk mails to be reported... Thanks! Moderator Edit: 'new' Topic brought into this existing one .. PM sent.

    Sluggishness

Yeah I'm running into that as well. 6 hour delay almost right on the nose.
  6. Got a different one this morning, and yup. They've forged my own address. http://www.spamcop.net/sc?id=z1220452712z1...584b8727113757z That being said though, this one doesn't seem to have been checked: (or am I reading the headers wrong, and this has a score of zero?) http://www.spamcop.net/sc?id=z1220453153ze...46926d26fd76e1z
  7. I was under the assumption that since it was reporting v3.1.1, while it was being checked it wasn't being checked "properly" ... I'm kinda bewildered as to why a '********' level message wasn't blocked when I have the SA level set at 4. Can't tell you any more about that particular spam, it's long gone. But it shouldn't have hit any of my whitelisted addresses, and it was a Russian cyrillic spam from one of the (should be completely blacklisted IMHO) european ISPs. arcor.de or something. Next time I encounter one like this I'll triple check the headers and look for the whitelisting information. This is what I get for posting at 3am.
  8. Beats me. It's happening *again*. X-spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 3.1.1 (2006-03-10) on blade5 X-spam-Level: ************** ...and naturally, in my inbox.
  9. Filter7 still isn't filtering. Grumble.

    Spam Getting Through

Methinks Filter7 is having issues now. http://www.spamcop.net/sc?id=z1198216115z8...e73c99b7df0796z

    Spam Getting Through

I'll add my own $.02 to this. An inordinate amount of ridiculously obvious spam is STILL getting through. Here are a couple of tracking URLS: http://www.spamcop.net/sc?id=z1185008139za...fb06b84e0c7e7bz http://www.spamcop.net/sc?id=z1185008154z8...a4b5a6de8842e4z So AFAIK, the problem is still ongoing.
  13. Yes, this is where I'm submitting from. All mail comes into that domain and is immediately forwarded to djtodd[at]spamcop.net, if it passes it's sent to the "hidden" email account on synthetic.org. No problems there. The RBC stuff is neither here nor there, it doesn't enter into the equation. Shrug. I'm forced to use my ISPs SMTP server, and AFAIK they don't filter at all. If they do I'll never be able to get any sort of a proper answer out of the help desk monkeys anyhow. I wouldn't be suprised if it was filtered though, the sporadic nature of the problem kinda leads me that way too.
  14. Crap, I don't even know what my ID/password would be for members.spamcop.net I mean, I can log in to spamcop.net (as I would to check my held mail, not the web mail) and I don't see anything about Unreported spam. It's really sporadic. There was a couple on Friday, and one this morning. Forward and *poof* it all disappears into the aether.
  15. Lately I've noticed that when I get a spam in my inbox and do the forward to submit(blah)[at]spamcop.net that there's about a 50% chance that I'll never hear from the system again and I don't get the email with the reporting info. Anything going on?
