  1. I am having problems reporting a spam email. I use gmail and the spam was also sent from a gmail email address. I get the error from spamcop saying "No source IP address found, cannot proceed" I know that I have my mailhost configured correctly as I've been using spamcop almost problem free for years. Here is the email header: Tracking URL HERE. Thanks Eric

    Should I report?

my username was very random. letter and numbers
  3. I have looked at some of the pinned topics and they aren't very helpful in this situation I have tried paste-in-the-box and forwarding. Both did not work. I know how to use spamcop. Yes it's really that bad
  4. Hi, I have an email account with IMail (it is a school email account) I have been getting spam and the only way to stop it is to put up a filter to bounce it. I have tried to set it up to work with spamcop, however it doesn't work as IMail mangles the headers. Here is the error message I got: Sorry, SpamCop has encountered errors: Headers mangled It appears that the sample you provided has been altered. Often, extra line-breaks are inserted by your software in an invalid format. Part of the reason for this proceedure is to ensure that you and your software are submitting spam in an error-free format. Please review the relevant FAQ for your software and ensure you are following a proceedure which returns intact spam content to SpamCop. Should I report?

I have been receiving spam on my hotmail account. I am assuming that someone stole my email address and signed up for stuff. I've been getting spam that said that it was CAN-spam compliant. IT also said to reply with "remove me" to stop the emails. Well, I have replied with "remove me" but all of the emails bounced. Seems very suspicious so should I report?
