Please help! sent email and it bounced sbcglobal.net!!!

thanks for all your help. Yes, i tried that for a few hours. There are a ton of search engines/people finders, any you recommend? They're also costly and I doubt many of them are efficient. Which one would you recommend? I found a # but when I try call it, it's occupied. hmm...

thanks for your help everyone. The email test page you provided confirmed (nice site btw). Is there anything else I can do? This seems quite aggressive and offensive, but could I track his ip adress from one of the mails he previously sent and then I could maybe figure out the ip adress and find his telephone number or just anything? As I mentioned, I have no other email/way to contact him... but do you think this is too much or "illegal" or wouldnt you help me with that? I dont know how to do it. EDIT: I now found the ip to the ISP provider but that doesn't help much, I could call and ask them but i doubt they would/could help me... is there any way to find the person/adress/phone i'm looking for if I have the isp ip/location? (which i do)
  3. Hello everyone. Help would be REALLY appriciated as I put in a lot of time and effort, writing the email but also time to try resolve the problem, but most of all I just want to reach my good friend. Some background story: I'm from Sweden, and I'm not very good with computers/internet/technique in general. I wrote a 10 pages, times new roman 12 sized document with personal information and spent all day working on it, and when I sent it, I received a mail delivery status failure notification and simply that it didn't get through to my contact. Last time I emailed him was in january (i think, more than 10 months ago) and we had been frequently mailing back and forth, so my account should be recognized (but maybe there's still some new anti-spam routine blocking me) Chances are he isn't using the email anymore since it's been a while or that it's not working anymore, but I doubt that, it should be active. Then I started looking for reasons why it wasn't working and that lead me here. the email is a sbcglobal.net adress, here's the log, I used my hotmail account which I've had for 7 years: Delivery Status Notification (Failure)þ From: postmaster[at]mail.hotmail.com Sent: Wednesday, November 07, 2007 5:54:13 PM Security scan upon download details00...txt (0.2 KB), This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification. Delivery to the following recipients failed. INSERTFRIENDSEMAILKEPTANONYMOUS[at]sbcglobal.net Reporting-MTA: dns;bay0-omc1-s19.bay0.hotmail.com Received-From-MTA: dns;BAY110-W40 Arrival-Date: Wed, 7 Nov 2007 08:38:09 -0800 Final-Recipient: rfc822;INSERTFRIENDSEMAILKEPTANONYMOUS Action: failed Status: 5.3.0 Diagnostic-Code: smtp;553 5.3.0 ... Addressee unknown, relay=[65.54.246.91] I think this was all the information that was returned. There's no other way I can contact him. Can you help me? I scanned through some other topics, seems sbcglobal is troublesome. O.s. sorry if I posted in a wrong section or something, my friend lives in So. Cal so i hope this was the right section. I'll be checking this thread often so feel free to ask any questions. does anyone here have a sbcglobal.net email to whom I could send an email as a try? ANY help whatsoever would be great!
