  5. I can't even submit anything, when I log in I get: Sorry, your account has been disabled. Sorry, your account has been disabled. Please check your email for an explanation or contact SpamCop service. I haven't received any emails. Plus, when I try to go to the site map or other pages, they look strange and there is a message "[an error occurred while processing this directive]". I checked with Firefox, Chrome and IE, just in case my Adblock rules went wonky. edit: Okay, I just received the email: In the 24 hours starting Wed Aug 8 18:23:24 2012, you have submitted over spams for processing, which exceeds our daily submission limit. No more submissions will be accepted. Your reporting account is disabled. Please reply if you are reporting spam in good faith and feel your account should be reinstated.

Just a follow-up, I have received another spam from fanbridge.com, letting me know that I have been added to the DJ Sharon fan list, aren't I lucky. And such careful instructions on how to add DJ Sharon to my "Safe Senders List" Tracking URL: http://www.spamcop.net/sc?id=z2076050906z8...436c3bbec150f1z "ISP has indicated spam will cease; ISP resolved this issue sometime after Wednesday, July 16, 2008 8:32:18 AM -0400" Erm, apparently not.

Hi ahoier, no, I know exactly where my several addresses were harvested from, one place being a mailing list - I have mentioned my concerns to the list owner as that is a TOS violation; the others from Usenet, but there were also pretty specific addresses for the groups. Not much I can do about that, but that is one reason why I only used Yahoo addresses for Usenet. Funny that I hadn't posted anything for a good long while, but the addresses still were harvested...

Hi there, Wazoo referred me to this topic, I too have received some fanbridge.com spams recently and have been frustrated in attempting to report them. Since no reports were generated, I don't have tracking URLs for them, though it appears that the spams I received were from members of fanbridge, rather than being unwillingly registered myself. I have unblocked the addresses from my various email accounts, and if I receive any more, I'll submit them.

    trouble with reporting. fanbridge.com?

Thanks, Wazoo. I don't know if I have anything further to add to the conversation over there, especially since Don D.Minion has taken action...I'll check in and say hi.

    trouble with reporting. fanbridge.com?

Hi Steven, yes, that is correct. After the spam is parsed, I get a message that says "ISP has indicated spam will cease etc etc" but no reports are submitted, even for statistics. (In parsing a spam and checking the"Show Technical Details" checkbox, I can see that reports would have gone to softlayer.com; I had already emailed their abuse desk directly.) That's why I was surprised that you said they were being sent somewhere and that it would (perhaps) list the IP... Really, though, in restarting this topic, I was hoping to get a public response in the forum from fanbridge addressing the practice of their members harvesting and sharing addresses and signing them up to opt-out mailing lists, but it doesn't look like that will happen. I haven't received any more spams at this point to my Gmail address, and have blocked the senders to my Yahoo addresses. Thanks very much for your input, it is appreciated.

    trouble with reporting. fanbridge.com?

Hi Steven, I am using the Spamcop webpage form, as the emails are either coming to a Yahoo or Gmail address. In the "Report History", they simply say "No reports filed". No tracking ID or anything. Not to a devnull address. The earliest was July 10, I rather think that it would have processed by now. By the way, I've been a (free) Spamcop user for several years now.

    trouble with reporting. fanbridge.com?

Thanks, Steven, I wasn't sure if, since it was not the exact issue, it would need to be moved... Aha, okay, even though my "Past Reports" say "No reports filed"? I thought that meant NO reports! Thanks!

    trouble with reporting. fanbridge.com?

I am having a problem with fanbridge.com, may I append to this topic, or start a new one? A member of fanbridge.com, DJ Ed Tangent, has signed up a couple of my email addresses to his mailing list, and now, apparently, has provided (or fanbridge has provided) my emails to other members(DJ Sharon and Hologram). I did not request to be added to any of these lists, nor did I receive any confirmation of being added. My Spamcop report attempts show that "ISP has indicated spam will cease; ISP resolved this issue sometime after Sunday, July 13, 2008 4:36:00 PM -0400". I do not believe in unsubscribing from lists to which I haven't subscribed, in the first place.
