How to Contact SpamCop Staff

You need to be aware that most of the people posting to the SpamCop Wiki, the SpamCop Forums and the SpamCop Newsgroups are simply users of some or all of the SpamCop tools and do not have any official ties to SpamCop or to IronPort. The Administrators and Moderators are un-paid voluenteers who freely give of their time and knowledge to help others who come looking for help. The paid staff is very small indeed, which is why these support tools were made available and continue to exist.
Many of the SpamCop tools are provided at no cost to the user, others are provided at a very minimum cost; as such SpamCop is unable to provide a full staff of customer servide professionals to answer your questions. Please keep this in mind when making use of these support tools.
There may be times when your questions/problems will require the assistance of one of the few paid SpamCop employees.
The SpamCop tools are divided into two completely separate but inter-related groups with their own equipment and staff.

SpamCop Reporting Service (made up of the following sub areas)
The SpamCop Blocking List aka SpamCop BL or SpamCopDNSBL or SCBL
SpamCop Reporting Service which uses the SpamCop Parsing Service
Which also makes use of the Mail-Host (Configuration of your Reporting Account) files

SpamCop Email Service
The SpamCop Email Service includes built in links to the SpamCop Reporting Service making it easy to forget that they are totally separate services running on totally separate servers located in different parts of the country.
