IPv6 - Internet Protocol version 6
IPv6 (Internet Protocol version 6) was created to deal with the address shortage under
IPv4 and allows for a near unlimited supply. It is currently in use in the internet but only represents a very small amount of today's traffic.
SpamCop currently does not work with IPv6 addresses which are normally written as eight groups of four hexadecimal digits. IPv6 addresses are 128 bits long compared to the 16 bit addresses of
IPv4.
