ISP Abuse Report Center
When a
SpamCop.net user submits a spam e-mail for parsing, reviews the results, and decides to send the Reports, the recipient contact point(s) receive an e-mail with a Subject Line that specidies the type of Report, links to the appropriate Abuse Report Center web page, any notes added by the user, and the (usually) munged submitted spam e-mail. The recipient than has the option to follow the links provided and respond to the Report.
The three primary types of Reports are;
- Source IP Address of the spam e-mail
- Spamvertised website found within the spam e-mail
- Third-party intersted in receiving Reports about the IP Address or the web-site
