Additions:
The SpamCopNewsgroups have historically been archived at/on the same server. Unfortunately this archive is no longer actively doing its job of archiving as of basically 1 June 2006. The developement of a replacement archive was begun by WazoO and went on line on 1 Dec 2006. Except for posts that were copied forward to allow for their preservation; any posts between 1 June 2006 and 1 Dec 2006 have been lost.

Unfortunately this archive is no longer actively doing its job of archiving as of basically 1 June 2006, but messages that have been archived, which are saved by month, continue to be accessable. The replacement archive is currently under developement/population at http://zeta.cesmail.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo, as of 1 Dec 2006. Subscriptions and posting via this interface are not currently entertained, but the historic and current archives are now available.

spamcop.mail is one of the newsgroups that diehard newsgroup supporters are upset about because it is no longer referenced to by the official SpamCop web site www.spamcop.net.

Deletions:
A newer google based archive has been recently discover and can be found at http://groups.archivesat.com/category-12.htm . Users who are unable to access a newsreader due to port restrictions on their network my find this browser based archive useful as most messages appear to be archived within 24-48 hours of being posted. It also allows for creating replys to existing threads and creating a new thread. Note: per my (DbieL) testing these functions do not replicate to the main SpamCopNewsgroup server. This maybe a limitation of my software, so additional testing is recommended.

SpamCop Newsgroups

The SpamCop Newsgroups are one of the oldest methods of getting information about SpamCop. They are still very much alive and active. They are accessed using any standard newsreader. They may be found at "news://news.spamcop.net/" Copying the address and pasting it into your browser will open up your default newsreader. (See SpamCopNewsgroupsHowToUse)

The SpamCop.net newsgroups currently consist of the following groups:

Note: these newsgroups are explained in more detail at SpamCopNewsgroupsHowToUse

As with most newsgroups, older messages are not availble from the News Server. They are archived in a separate file that is usually accessable via a browser.
