
Retired U.S.Army SFC 33F/S/M trained to be one of the world's best electronic technicians, computer knowledge came from personal interests on the home front, being in charge and "computers are electronic, aren't they?" in the job place. Started back when data entry was done via front panel switches, handled Hollerith cards, paper/mylar tape, mag tape, hard disk drives the size of washing machines - stacked disk platters weighing in at 50+ pounds, 1K of memory requiring a piece of fiberglass over a foot square ... oh yeah, the good old days
Now an Old guy, too much/not enough time, still have that thirst for knowledge, absolutely hates to have to use the phrase "I don't know" .. so always looking for answers .. and what's the use of having the knowledge it you can't pass it on? Part of the volunteer side of the
