Wiki Suggestions

Please provide your suggestions on how to improve this wiki.

Having a spell checker and checking the pages before committing the page would be nice. This would eliminate all the typos in the documents. This is already implemented in other wikis such as wiki.debian.net . However that wiki uses MoinMoin wiki. So I do not know if a similar thing is possible here as well.

- For those using Internet Explorer (IE) ieSpell∞ is an effective Spell checker that works well in this Wiki. It is free for personal use but requires a paid license for any other use. I have personally found it very helpful.

WazoO is currently working on moving the Wiki as well as the Forum and other tools to a new server. Once that work is completed, then I would agree with you that a spell checker would be a very helpful addition to the Wiki. It would be nice if it could be the same spell checker used on the Forum.

I was in fact looking at inserting the same spell-check tool, late spring, early summer timeframe, based on my notes. I got wrapped around the spokes trying to get it to 'recognize' the 'Add a comment' box .. and then other things came up .. still on my To-Do list of sure-would-be-nice-to have .. not ignoring that most of the typos in this thing do track back to me <g>
