[Resolved] Forwarding as Attachment Not Working Any Longer
SKova posted a topic in SpamCop Reporting Help
About 6 months ago I posted a question related to this and since changing to Spectrum (and my SMTP from my domain provider), I have been completely unsuccessful at forwarding spam to Spamcop as an attachment. The only way it appears to work is if I manually copy the source into the webpage and do it that way. Any ideas as to how to find out where this is breaking down? Is anyone else still successfully forwarding as an attachment? Thank you, Stephen -
WARNING: If you have EarthLink, you will most likely not be able to forward emails to SpamCop using an their SMTP with an external client. I had opened a question on here: After chat sessions, testing and experimentation, I found that they are blocking the outgoing messages. I just wanted hopefully save someone some pain and time in troubleshooting this. There does not appear to be a way around this, so it is time to change ISPs again.

"SpamCop could not find your spam message in this email" - but it's there!

Hello, I randomly get "SpamCop could not find your spam message in this email" - and then the offending email is enclosed, with full headers and body. I am forwarding emails via cPanel. Can you help? Thanks! -
So, more of an FYI to staff: About 2/3 of the way through the bouncing all email snafu, and before an acknowledgement was made of the problem, I sent an email to Deputies to see if there was an official update. Today I got back the following: "The following message to <deputies [at] spamcop.net> was undeliverable. The reason for the problem: 5.4.7 - Delivery expired (message too old) 'timeout'" "Reporting-MTA: dns; prod-sc-smtp2.sv4.ironport.com Final-Recipient: rfc822;deputies [at] spamcop.net Action: failed Status: 5.4.7 Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 5.4.7 - Delivery expired (message too old) 'timeout' (delivery attempts: 0)"
