Lighthouse
Comcast technician was upgrading our service and almost immediately after hooking up new Comcast phone modem we got a call on cell phone which was coincidentally hooked up to computer as well as an identical email. I had been transferring some pictures and recharging the cell phone just before he showed up. Odd set of circumstances but ... Any ideas on how to pursue this? I've included the full source of the email followed by Spamcop's results (I altered my gmail address); Full source is; Delivered-To: xxxxx[at]gmail.com Received: by 10.220.9.201 with SMTP id m9csp34510vcm; Thu, 17 Jan 2013 08:51:20 -0800 (PST) Return-Path: <3Byz4UCIUAMwJQJMKRRNLIQ.JMIKQQKIMQP.-tPPOQoyTFBFB.D60uw.y66y3w.u64[at]grandcentral.bounces.google.com> Received-SPF: pass (google.com: domain of 3Byz4UCIUAMwJQJMKRRNLIQ.JMIKQQKIMQP.-tPPOQoyTFBFB.D60uw.y66y3w.u64[at]grandcentral.bounces.google.com designates 10.50.6.137 as permitted sender) client-ip=10.50.6.137 Authentication-Results: mr.google.com; spf=pass (google.com: domain of 3Byz4UCIUAMwJQJMKRRNLIQ.JMIKQQKIMQP.-tPPOQoyTFBFB.D60uw.y66y3w.u64[at]grandcentral.bounces.google.com designates 10.50.6.137 as permitted sender) smtp.mail=3Byz4UCIUAMwJQJMKRRNLIQ.JMIKQQKIMQP.-tPPOQoyTFBFB.D60uw.y66y3w.u64[at]grandcentral.bounces.google.com; dkim=pass header.i=[at]google.com X-Received: from mr.google.com ([10.50.6.137]) by 10.50.6.137 with SMTP id b9mr11814047iga.6.1358441480551 (num_hops = 1); Thu, 17 Jan 2013 08:51:20 -0800 (PST) DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=google.com; s=20120113; h=mime-version:x-received:message-id:date:subject:from:to :content-type; bh=rM+yT/8ASWJWyCpmarJdttK6XuMLkEHzIO4EI8GVIN0=; b=ifj1ConvslV1sO8Ibt86cEaEInD2eh/Q8XrJ6IBlDxA+yM/rM0tWoxUCeDspkqiaTW TBlJfzuWmvzStpf9DPCaAnAqW6XEefcFVXTTEFqy2a/774n/puJq5MI+ZwJ+JPuxXRC+ IHyZidMz0ouMvPsibIaTmWltvqp14WD7m2BYYRupDCGBc5gYeh/8RoRDsYS2FfaxVIMw WS9Z/MU737tjUGrKnKcALx63gQhV5TEpf5tWmDYXjj2ftgi7W7S2yOx+NwqiM0jeGiFT tzbYb+oUcu7XbO8jaTIyCvrpXU+4x/g0/4izD9LZ2soJnLdSTwhYUgAVsX7q97EeczKq I7Nw== MIME-Version: 1.0 X-Received: by 10.50.6.137 with SMTP id b9mr6822273iga.6.1358441479902; Thu, 17 Jan 2013 08:51:19 -0800 (PST) Message-ID: <+18142995308.bc8145438bafc32f6425f5d5e9140d9afcf94161[at]txt.voice.google.com> Date: Thu, 17 Jan 2013 16:51:19 +0000 Subject: SMS from (402) 882-0487 From: "(402) 882-0487" <18142995308.14028820487.-b7768WgBx[at]txt.voice.google.com> To: xxxxx[at]gmail.com Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed; delsp=yes Winner#72830 You've won the $1000 Target drawing! Farelf
Looks like routing was all Google internal, you would need to use the Google report form for internal handling: http://support.google.com/mail/bin/request...tact_type=abuse
turetzsr
...This Topic was started in the SpamCop "SpamCop Reporting Help > Routing / Report Address Issues" subforum but it appears to me that it is a better fit to the parent forum "SpamCop Reporting Help," so I am moving it with this post. Farelf
Yep - Google gmail all the way down, can't be tackled through SC. Obviously a bit of a growth industry but I'm sure Google can handle it.
