DavidT 0 Posted November 24, 2013 I'm having problems connecting with the CESMail webmail system at https://webmail.spamcop.net and the "Down for Everyone" site lists it as currently down: http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/webmail.spamcop.net It's not just you! http://webmail.spamcop.net looks down from here. I've tried both via my home Internet connection and also through my work network (different providers/backbones/etc.) and still no luck. I hope this is a temporary glitch, but thought I'd at least document it here in case it isn't.
SpamCopAdmin 0 Posted November 24, 2013 Webmail is down for me, too. POP and SMTP are working fine. - Don D'Minion - SpamCop Admin - - Service[at]Admin.SpamCop.net - .
DavidT 0 Posted November 24, 2013 (edited) Webmail is down for me, too. POP and SMTP are working fine. Thanks for confirming. Unfortunately, I mostly rely on the webmail system for accessing my mail, having removed POP/IMAP clients from my PC. Also, when reloading these pages, the browser progress indicator spins and spins for several minutes, rather than completing the loading of the page. I'm pretty sure that's related as well. DT ...and now the Reporting Server Status graphic has disappeared entirely, which is helping the pages to finish loading, but only because they're not having to wait for whatever isn't happening with that function. ...and now it magically reappeared, but webmail is still down. DavidT 0 Posted November 24, 2013 CES Mail system (including [at]spamcop.net accounts) is supposed to be here on Twitter: https://twitter.com/Cesmail_status but they have not tweeted since August. DT
Ex_Brit 0 Posted November 24, 2013 (edited) Same here and when I tried mailsc.pamcop itself I could see I had some spam. But my computer's email client is polling for mail from their servers OK although not getting any right now. Edited November 24, 2013 by Ex_Brit

DavidT 0 Posted November 25, 2013 I used the shotgun approach--over an hour ago I sent Email_Support a PM, shot an email to support[at]cesmail.net, and sent a Tweet to [at]cesmail_status. One of those things apparently got their attention.
showker 0 Posted November 25, 2013 (edited) Keep getting : > Unable to connect > Firefox can't establish a connection to the > server at webmail.spamcop.net. Been like this since around noon. Should I keep trying, or go to bed and hope it's back up in the morning? merged with existing topic Edited November 25, 2013 by Farelf

ViRGE 0 Posted November 25, 2013 Even though IMAP is still up, I'm finding it to be ungodly slow tonight. Is CESmail having network difficulties and/or being DDoS'd?
DavidT 0 Posted November 25, 2013 Looks like all the problems have now been solved, as webmail is back up, IMAP is faster, and the Reporting Server Status graphic is no longer hanging the loading of these pages. You'll see some gaps on the current graphic, but those are only the tip of the iceberg in terms of the problems. DT
Ex_Brit 0 Posted November 25, 2013 (edited) All is well again, here at least. Nothing on their news page about it at all, strange, maybe later. Edited November 25, 2013 by Ex_Brit
