Can SpamCop Help Avoid E-mail Blocks?

We are having a problem with our email being sent back to us on yahoo. We have a yahoo email address and just started having problems this week with emails not being sent to certain people, specifically law firms and accountants. Is there anyway that we hire spamcop.net and then won't be blocked from certain people?

Hi, Stewartplaza,

...Welcome to the SpamCop Forum!

...As far as I know, SpamCop does not offer the service you are requesting -- see SpamCop FAQ (links to which appear near the top left of each SpamCop Forum page) article labeled "What is this? How does it work? How do I use it?" If you wish to pose your question directly to a member of the SpamCop staff, please contact the SpamCop deputies at e-mail address Deputies[at]admin.spamcop.net.

...Where we in the SpamCop community and the SpamCop web sites may be able to help you is that it may be possible to discover a bit of information about why (and, indeed, whether) the block has anything to do with SpamCop. If the block message mentioned SpamCop and the IP address being blocked, you can check on whether that IP address is on the SpamCop BL (blacklist) by using the form at http://www.spamcop.net/bl.shtml. Be aware that the list is very dynamic and IP addresses are added and removed quickly as spam waxes and wanes and also that sometimes administrators mention SpamCop in their block messages even though they are actually using some other criteria.

...If you have any follow-up questions, please don't hesitate to post them here.

SpamCop is not intended for blocking although many ISP's do!

SpamCop Blocklist just selects an IP that it detects sending spam in volume

A Blocklist should be just sorting email to a junk folder not bounce

Yahoo seems to always crop up as having a spam problem?

Try hotmail or Gmail as a email provider instead is my recommendation (advice is free till one acts on it)
