3/29 - Update

The system is up and processing queued mail. After it has finished processing the mail, we will take the system down for 1-2 hrs for equipment reconfiguration and installation.

That's good, I think, but wouldn't it be a good idea to have the mail and SC pages redirect to a page telling people that, when the entire service is offline deliberately?

The only way I found out was when my email client finally gave up the ghost and threw up an error fetching mail or trying to.

Likewise the News webpage hasn't any mention of this or the earlier outage today. Twitter does but that was posted only a short while ago.
