Interests:IT IS 23 FEBRUARY 2003, and I've spent some time here on this new IPB SpamCop forum system in the last couple of weeks. I had come here with some particular issues to ask about, and figured since I've been using spamcop mail and doing most of my reporting through the web interface for a long time, I'd peruse the forums and their topics, see if there's anything to learn and, as an experienced user, offer what help I could. My usenet usage over the past decade has been fairly minimal, but not nonexistant. I've gotten a lot of good information there, including on the SC newsgroups. My nonthreaded conferencing experience, similar to this IPB SpamCop conferencing system, is rather more extensive, as I've been an active member of the Well for ten years - although I prefer to use the character based ssh/telnet accessed interface there, I have also made rich use of the web based conferencing interface there. As well, I host nine web based private conferences for a nonprofit organization. I've also bopped around on slashdot and a couple of others, but seldom contribute. Only so much to do in a day..<br>
