I tried logging in as I always do, but now I get the message :

Login failed - your browser did not accept a cookie (check browser config or cookie-manager)

as far as I know I haven't changed any IE cookie settings.

after seeing a post in this forum I tried adding http://www.spamcop.net to the sites allowed to use cookies (IE tools, internet options, privacy)

using XP SP2

also pc-cillin 2005 with firewall

appriciate any help

thanks, Patrick

Try changing the permited site entry to *.spamcop.net

Also could you be a bit more specific as to what you are trying to log into.

Please post the URL you are trying to log into.

www.spamcop.net does not require any log in.

http://mailsc.spamcop.net/

http://webmail.spamcop.net/

http://members.spamcop.net/

etc

I just tried that, *.spamcop.net - closed IE and tried again, same thing.

Logging in to report spam http://www.spamcop.net/mcgi?action=loginform;returnurl=%2F

is my IE fav

I was able to go there and log in to report spam using FireFox.

What type of account do you have?

My guess would be a filtered E-Mail account.

If that is the case you may want to try the following address instead which does allow for automatic cookie log on. http://mailsc.spamcop.net/

If it is a regular paid reporting account you could try http://members.spamcop.net/ which also allows for automatic cookie log on.
