mrmaxx
I've got some TV shows (BritComs) that I downloaded in AVI format and now I'd like to burn 'em to DVD so I can watch 'em on my DVD player. Anyone got any favorite free/low-cost apps to make the conversion for me? I'll probably do it on my wife's PC which is running Windows ME and has an Athlon 700 and about half a Gig of RAM. Oh, the video card is a Riva TNT (original 16 Meg card, not the 32 MB card!) in case it matters. :-) Will be burning this with Nero, if Nero has this ca;pability built-in, I don't see it. :-) Thanks

I'm not aware of any free software due to the DVD encryption fees.

I did a Google search myself before I posted here and found several apps that would do the conversion. I am looking for "testimonials" from fellow geeks.
