ISP Accounts: How to Get Detailed Spam Reports

...Based on StevenUnderwood's post in thread "Getting reports":

Access the "Abuse report response center" by clicking on the www.spamcop.net link in a SpamCop Report you received or use the following procedure:

  • Log into your ISP account
  • Enter the IP address of your mail servers into the search form
  • Select Find Reports
  • Click the "reporting details" link
  • Click the link in the report ID which brings you to the "Abuse report response center"

You then have these options:

  • Please select one..
  • This spam outbreak has been stopped.
  • This message did not originate from the above address.
  • This issue is under investigation.
  • I am not the right person to contact about this.
  • This message is not spam.
  • Add a note to this issue.
