petzl
Have to find that old discussion about changing / adding in the nerd.dk list then .... If you're asking me, then I will state that I don't think that there's a direct connection. blackholes.us only gets updated so often, therefore the copy used for the e-mail filters would only get updated after that, so there's plenty of time in between a new spam source showing up / IP address/block going active and getting picked up and listed .... After I report an IP it seems to be/get quickly blocked I remember sending concerns at getting too many spam passing from countries like China that I have blocked. This turned out to be our country blocklist going belly-up. Again for me the very most delinquent spam country is Brazil with a high percentage of spam and or websites being there

DavidT
Petzl, The following announcement appeared today on the SC webmail login page: Aug 27, 2007 [16:50 EDT] During a system upgrade this afternoon, we made a change which let a lot of spam slip through the filters. We are aware of the issue and have fixed things so they should be back to normal. We apologize about the inconvenience. so...your post about another Brazil leak is probably directly attributable to that issue. DT

DavidT
News flash! In the SC email account blacklists, JT has swapped out the old "blackholes.us" options (Argentina, Brazil, and Nigeria) for the list at "countries.nerd.dk/more.html." See this post: http://forum.spamcop.net/forums/index.php?...ost&p=62477 Here's hoping it helps out with this situation, Petzl. DT
