Geek
Hi, The other day I got a spam for iPhones: http://www.spamcop.net/sc?id=z4951050830z7...7a99b0367a6328z The reoprt was kind of useless, since "Reports are disabled for exacttarget.com" So, I sent them a copy manually and got this reply right quickly: We do allow Spamcop reports, however Spamcop declines to send them to us, because we don't require confirmed opt-in for all of our subscribers. Please feel free to confirm this with Spamcop. Is there some misunderstanding going on here between SC and them? Cheers!
SpamCopAdmin
Exacttarget.com is the sender. No point in sending them reports. - Don D'Minion - SpamCop Admin - - service[at]admin.spamcop.net -
kmolloy
So, I sent them a copy manually and got this reply right quickly: Is there some misunderstanding going on here between SC and them? No, our policy is to not send reports to ESPs unless all their lists are COI. We do this to prevent listwashing and because while there are ESPs that do not do 100% opt in and would handle reports responsibly, we have to be fair and COI is the best bright line we can come up with.
