If this is simply loss of POP and IMAP then that can be worked around, but I have a feeling it's more than that.
As I already have a couple of web-host accounts set-up, but currently just forward domain emails to spamcop - I am setting up one to be my webmail (don't get much email on that domain so filtering not that important).

So I guess there will be no way to retrieve the filtered messages, you know, the ones that got filtered by mistake?
If you log on to http://mailsc.spamcop.net (same as your webmail log on - looks like no https) there is an option to see the held mail and forward those that are wrongly caught. Now the question who generates the emails about held emails as I rely on that to check incorrectly caught emails

I do not relish the work involved telling all the sites & people I am changing my e-mail address.
I always use an unique email from one of my own domains for registering with sites - means this type of change is less painful. I have one or two are registered with spamcop.net address where there were issues so I will have to keep it alive for a while, my renewal is due 1 Sep so I hope we know what happens before then.

If you click on "folders" on top bar of webmail (new to New message) - one of the options in "chose action" is download folders - opps didn't see someone answered already :s
