As I paid with Paypal I have just opened a dispute with them & if I do not get a reasonable answer I shall be requesting a refund. I If I do get a refund I still have 2 weeks to make contact details changes etc.
If this is all genuine it would be nice if the webmail providers can offer to migrate accounts to another provider.

SpamCop/Cisco does not own or operate the email service.
We're attached at the wrists and ankles for spam reporting purposes, but we don't have any control.

So you are Saying the Spamcop Webmail is not provided by Spamco/Cisco but another entity, well surely then you can find another provider partnership & our accounts can be migrated?

I find it Odd that there is no official announcement via the website & forum in addition the timing of the message a Saturday night all very odd.
If genuine I am VERY annoyed I just renewed my Spamcop last week, fortunately via paypal so I can dispute the payment in needs be.
Hopefully Some clarification will surface, but as a precaution I have opened an alternative premium account with another provider just in case.
I have also set up the mail forwarding which does not seem to work, I do not relish the work involved telling all the sites & people I am changing my e-mail address.

After due consideration I shall be requesting my renewal fee refunded if I wanted a filtering service I would have paid for one in the first place. I have decided to move to hushmail it's basic premium account is only $4.95 more than spamcop.
