  1. SpamCop continues to send more reports than spam submitted per statistics graphs at http://forum.spamcop.net/forums/index.php?...&page=stats since week 27.
  2. I find this is useful. For example, common URL for pill spam these days are in the format of http://??????.MEDIC????.ru/. SpamCop reporting address is heibaizhuli[at]yahoo.com.cn which I believe is spammers' e-mail address. I would send report to following addresses instead: postmaster[at]public.zz.ha.cn abuse[at]cnc-noc.net abuse[at]chinaunicom.cn spam[at]ccert.edu.cn
  3. Please see my earlier response to this at http://forum.spamcop.net/forums/index.php?...ost&p=81601
  4. While I hope so, I do not think so for following reasons: 1. Occasionally, I still experienced time out. 2. Occasionally, it still took more than 10 minutes to get a response for spam submitted via e-mail forwarding. 3. Statistics graph still show higher report sent than submitted, and it has been like this since week 27. See my earlier post at http://forum.spamcop.net/forums/index.php?...ost&p=81596
  5. May I have the direct URL to quick reporting in SpamCop FAQ?
  6. SpamCop has been working just fine for second full day.
  7. SpamCop has been working fine for me close to 24 hours now, no delay whatsoever, wonderful! Again, during entire up and down period, every single spam still got reported, just with delay up to 40 hours.
  8. Let me further clarify this as I was the first one discovered the e-mail address following "Forward your spam to:" has been changed as original post below: First, this only apply for users forwarding spam via e-mail. Second, this only apply if users save "Forward your spam to:" e-mail address in address book and using "Forward your spam to:" e-mail address saved in address book to forward spam by e-mail. Third, if users forwarding spam via e-mail are not getting response from SpamCop, please pay attention to the e-mail address following "Forward your spam to:" that may have been changed by SpamCop without notice. Finally, it is not exactly like "A new one was created and the old one deleted.". Instead, it may be changed without notice to user.
  9. Check to see if the e-mail address has been changed by SpamCop or not; mine has been changed. Old e-mail no longer get response from SpamCop.
  10. Forwarding spam via e-mail get process response back about half hour later. Trying to send report often get time out. Nevertheless, since day 1 of this slow down I still manage to report every single spam just with delay up to 40 hours as SpamCop does still work fine from time to time, just keep trying (with help of Perl scri_pt). By the way, I have just finished reporting all spam.
  11. Reports were sent promptly after clicking Report Now link. In contrast, forwarded spam via e-mail did not get response for processing for at least 20 minutes.
  12. No re-apply is needed, just start using the new e-mail address following "Forward your spam to:" please.
  13. Click "Report Now" link just now, got: SpamCop v © 1992-2012 Cisco Systems, Inc. All rights reserved. Failed to load spam header: 5367301919 / 31873653b61bacd8b3aed9717872264d
  14. Got response back from SpamCop for spam forwarded timely. In contrast, SpamCop home page cannot be loaded, got following error messages just now: An error occurred while processing your request. Reference #97.1f4f32d0.1341842890.140da2 An error occurred while processing your request. Reference #97.1e4f32d0.1341843036.94368e
  15. Once started using new "Forward your spam to:" e-mail address, got spam processed timely. Reports have been sent promptly after clicking "Report Now" link. Consequently, I have cleared all backlog. Reports did get delay as much as 40 hours. Nevertheless, all spam were reported since delay began about a week ago. Do you get a response from SpamCop for spam forwarded by e-mail? If not, watch for new "Forward your spam to:" e-mail address.
