  1. Actually, no, I use AOL [had my email since the birth of email] but I use Outlook as my mail client. I deleted and re-added my AOL mailhosts. I also verified that Outlook was giving me the same header information as in the original email when viewed on AOL and it is. All the 127.0.0.1 spam I get has yahoo in the header information, which I don't understand, if that helps. And I'm sorry, I don't understand this part: "https://www.spamcop.net/w3m?action=checkblock&ip=93.115.96.156 will be delisted automatically in approximately 6 hours. Other hosts in this "neighborhood" with spam reports 93.115.96.56 93.115.96.171 " Thanks!
  2. Thanks for the clear direction, Petzl. They always have *.yahoo.com in the first like like it is here. Thanks and happy new year!
  3. Thanks. I understand that 127.0.0.1 is an internal loopback IP all computers use. How come I get regularly get spam [it always includes "yahoo" in the email header properties dialog] and uses 127.0.0.1 as the sender IP? It isn't coming from my PC and if I try to submit to Spamcop manually, it bounces back. I hope I am explaining this correctly.
  4. Does this refer to the spam I receive from domain *.xyz where it shows the originating IP as 127.0.0.1 or is this a different issue? Sorry for the newbie-like question.
  5. Forgive my ignorance, but I have been having the same problem lately and all of my hosts are correctly registered. What is the fix? What are the steps you took to resolve? Thanks in advance.
  6. Ah, okay. Thanks for the clarification, RB. I am still hopeful someone will be able to help me get the SpamCop add-in to work like it used to for both my email accounts.
  7. I can't even find those options. I looked everywhere, including here: https://www.spamcop.net/mcgi?action=showadvanced "I Have a Dream" I will get this to work as easily as it used to. 😉
  8. My AOL, Gmail and other email addresses are registered on SpamCop, unless somehow I did it wrong. When I look at my MAILHOSTS tab, I see my three email addresses. The boxes below have drop down boxes for each email address. Am I supposed to do anything with them? Thanks. Hosts/Domains: Relaying IPsv4: Relaying IPsv6:
  9. Thanks, Petzl. I am now getting back reports from SpamCop for my AOL account via Outlook, but after clicking the SpamCop link in the email provided by auto-submission, I almost always receive one of a variety of error messages. If I submit manually by copying the message header and the email content on the SpamCop website, all my spam is processed correctly. For years I used auto-submission via the SpamCop addin successfully. Nothing has changed; same PC, same email addresses, etc. What can I do? Also, I have been trying to connect my Gmail account, which I access via Outlook, to SpamCop. My SpamCop account shows my Gmail email address as registered, but I only receive errors when submitting via the SpamCop Outlook addin. If I do a manual submission, SpamCop receives the spam report perfectly. I submit at least 50 spam emails a week. If I have to login to my SpamCop account and do manual submissions, it will be less likely that all my spam gets submitted as it is much more time consuming. I want to help fight spam, but I am losing faith. Any ideas? TIA
  10. This problem started for me a few days ago. I use my SpamCop button in Outlook to forward to forward spam, but I get no response back. Outlook does show that it was sent. If I login to SpamCop and upload the information manually, everything is fine. I have been using SpamCop forever. What do I do? Do I need my SpamCop ID fixed? Thanks.
