  1. I would suggest that you log into webmail, click on the "problem" link and open a ticket. "email_support" hasn't posted anything here in over two weeks, but they've been visiting the forum, so should be aware that it's still a problem for users. DT
  2. Good points, appyface. I called Sprint, and they no longer offer SMTP services to their phone customers, so having a fully-functional SMTP from CESMail would be helpful. Instead, I've just switched to using SMTP on my own web-hosting server, but not everyone is going to have that option. DT
  3. Update (also posted in non-pinned topic): CESMail customers are STILL not able to send email to Hotmail/MSN addresses using CESMail SMTP, which many of us do on our mobile devices, and some do on their computers (but they should really consider switching to their ISP's SMTP instead, IMO). The lack of continued interest/traffic here leads me to speculate that there aren't many CESMail customers left... DT
  4. Bad news...it appears that only *one* of the *two* outbound CESMail servers is OK with sending to Hotmail--the other IP is still being actively blocked. Please see the messages from today in this other forum topic: http://forum.spamcop.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=12533 dt
  5. We'll as they say, "all's well that ends well!" (because yes, it works now!) Thanks, DT
  6. Update: I just now tried sending a test to my own Hotmail address using SC webmail, and this happened: 5.1.0 - Unknown address error 550-"SC-001 (COL0-MC4-F22) Unfortunately, messages from 216.154.195.49 weren't sent. Please contact your Internet service provider since part of their network is on our block list. DT
  7. I will open a ticket, but no, mail sent to Hotmail addresses sent through the webmail interface are still being actively blocked by Hotmail--I just tried replying to a Hotmail user half an hour ago and had to resent it using Gmail instead. DT
  8. Are you using the greylisting feature on an an account to which you're having messages forwarded from the actual receiving address/host? IIUC, the greylisting is primarily useful only for messages sent *directly* to your SpamCop/CESMail email address. Is that correct, email account customers? DT
  9. ...but now it appears to be dead again...mail accumulating in my Yahoo account and a high error count on the pop options page in SC webmail. DT
  10. ...and today, it magically started working again. Well...maybe it wasn't magic...check out this topic, specifically where Don calls JT: http://forum.spamcop.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=10090 and now I've got all the stuff that's been sitting in my Yahoo inbox for weeks. I'm thinking this is more than a coincidence. DT
  11. Kae is correct...it's been broken (again) since mid-January. Maybe Trevor will come along and fix it again (said hopefully). DT
  12. Looks like it fixed my issue (but I'll do some testing, just to be sure). A big THANKS to Trevor! DT
  13. Yes, but I'm a (little) bit surprised that there hasn't been neither further complaints here nor any response from JT about this broken feature. I've opened a Support Case about it and will report back here if and when I receive a response. DT
  14. More failures to report, unfortunately. My Yahoo messages haven't been picked up for over a month...maybe longer, despite the fact that my "Error Count" (as seen in the "Configure external POP servers" options) is zero. Using "popgate" on my Yahoo account instead of "popgate2" results in password errors, but using "popgate2" simply leaves all mail on Yahoo's server and never brings it over to my SpamCop account. I've got a free Yahoo account and I've tried using both the "all-new Yahoo! mail" and the classic, with no difference. Anyone else having issues with their Yahoo messages not getting picked up? DT
  15. It *is* -- see the other active (non-pinned) topic, and also the current announcement on the webmail login screen. ...but not from a free Yahoo account, as I stated above. DT
  16. It's *not* fixed...."popgate2" still can't connect to Yahoo. You're apparently not using "popgate2" to pick up mail from a free Yahoo account. It's still broken. DT
  17. OK...here I am to eat my words....this just seen on the webmail login screen: Sep 26, 2008 [16:28 EDT] We have a new feature to block Russian and other Cyrillic emails. Login to webmail, click Options, then SpamCop Tools. Then click on your Blacklists. In there is a new menu item you can select to send all Russian emails directly to your Held Mail. Here's my post in the appropriate SC Email topic: http://forum.spamcop.net/forums/index.php?...ost&p=67064 Chomp, chomp. ;-) DT
  18. Of course....sorry I didn't qualify that. The statement applies only to the stuff outside of this forum. DT
  19. No, sorry. And stuff requested here rarely, if ever, gets acted upon by TPTB. DT
  20. I have sent a test message to my Yahoo address and I'll report back about what happens. (on edit) The message got successfully picked up by popgate2 and delivered to my SpamCop inbox. DT
  21. You should be OK now...without the SSL option. See my response to your Mailhosts message. DT
  22. It might have been nice to have some traffic here about this issue. Until today's webmail login page post, I was operating under the mistaken impression that everything was working properly. DT
  23. Seen on the webmail login today, but not announced in these forums: However, I tried updating my Yahoo popgate2 info and it still couldn't connect, so I'm now testing using the regular popgate instead....first connection attempt failed, claiming a bad password (but it was correct). So now I'm running a test using popgate2. [on edit] It didn't work until I fully deleted the Yahoo popgate2 entry and created a new one...that finally did the trick, and my backlog of un-popped Yahoo inbox mail is now arriving at my SpamCop account. From what I just saw when I logged into my Yahoo mailbox, popgate2 for Yahoo appears to have been broken since mid-June. WTF??? DT
  24. You should probably contact the support address for SC Email accounts to resolve this. DT
  25. I'm giving this item/topic a "bump" because, as shown in a new topic: cesmail.net being blocked by iwon.com and craigslist.com some sites are beginning to block the messages sent via c60.cesmail.net, which is the host which sends out the messages from SC webmail and also from the SMTP AUTH system. This needs administrative attention, IMO. DT
