  1. In case you are not aware of it (I did not find any forum topic...): The SSL certificate for the outgoing mail server "smtp.cesmail.net" has expired some days ago. Moderator Edit: merged this 'new' Topic into the existing Discussion that covers the same ground. PM sent.
  2. Unfortunately even with the new webmail version the "New Message" notification is still broken. I do not get any pop-up window although the inbox is refreshing and displaying the new mail. This worked until I think 2005 and was gone since 2006 ... I already opened a forum topic in the past but with no solution so far. So I would like to try it again with the new webmail system :-) Does anyone use this and is working for him? Does anybode have anidea what the reason might be and what I can do that it is working again? Besides that I am quite happy that the new webmail is active now (as S/MINE support now seems to work correctly!!) Thanks, Michael
  3. I found a similar posting in the meantime which is quite old: http://forum.spamcop.net/forums/lofiversio....php/t5478.html Although I do not get anything like "no_newmail_popup=1" in my URL.... UPDATE: I DO get this text immediately after I login as I have just seen. If I switch to Held Mail and back to Inbox this text goes away in my URL. But it definietly show up immediately after I login to webmail! so the URL reads: https://webmail.spamcop.net/horde/imp/mailb...newmail_popup=1 But unfortunately no solution .... Maybe I should also write to support? Michael
  4. >> Possibility of setting up an IMAP connection instead of a browser/web-page connection? >> What exactly do you mean? Although I access my account both from webmail and via IMAP, I am talking of webmail here ... I had my IMAP connection not active when testing so it could not be a problem while accessing in parallel. So you can confirm that it is still working for you for both browser types?? I already have looked here at some browser settings, I also added webmail.spamcop.net as allowed website for pop ups in the browser but still with no success. Any other idea what browser settings etc. could be the problem? I tried it on several different computers but no where the pop up will be displayed. Could it be that my setting in the options dislog is not stored correctly? Maybe anyone of the admin team could have a look into my account settings? Thanks, Michael
  5. Hi, since some time (since we had for some days the new Webmail system a few weeks ago?) I do not get any new mail notification (as a pop up window) when new mail arrives at my inbox. It does not work neither with Firefox nor with Internet Explorer and I have tried it both with my account and with the account of my girl-friend. It worked in the past definitly in the past with both browsers. I would urgently need some kind of notification as I otherwise have to look regularly into the browser window (which I often forget during work ....) Any idea what I can do here or how to fix that? Thanks a lot for your answer! Michael
  6. Ok, Jeff. Thanks anyway.
  7. Hi, would it be possible to get a list of all test currently made by Spamassassin and the points allocated to each test? I just would be curious about the configuration as I have to setup a Spamassassin configuration for a friend of mine. Or is this confidential? :- Thanks, Michael P.S. I think the current values are not standard out-of-the-box, right? At least I cannot find any BAYES tests in the header fields. Is BAYES deactivated?

    New Webmail Launched

Hi, I also opened already a problem report: With the new system I am no longer able to import CSV files into my webmail address book. I just deleted all my addresses there (as I did several times in the past) and tried to re-import all my addresses from an CSV file (this is because I have the actual data in another system...). When I now click on "Next" only an empy screen is presented and nothing ever happens. Any idea? Thanks! Michael Moderator Edit: extracted from the ancient Topic/Discussion this was posted in to at Whitelist based on subjects .... which seems obvious that there's no connection between that subject matter and this post ....???? [it wasn't posted there, I fumbled it trying to move it. Not for nothing am I known as 'good old conception-fingers' - Farelf] As the "new webmail" is invoked, this should have theoretically been placed into the "new webmail" Topic in the "SpamCop E-Mail Account Help" Forum anyway ....???? .. moving it there ..

Maybe :-) Most of the messages are dealing with problems importing the certificates and the message I answered ws about "Ibut when I encrypt it (no errors reported) the resulting email is blank." So I only told that BOTH is working for me here. I can import my certificates, I can send mails to external contacts which then can be decrypted without any problems. The only thing which is currently NOT working for me is displaying correctly an encrypted mail I received. And that exactly is the topic I asked about in my other posting....

Hm, did I really write S/MIME ist NOT working for me???? It IS working ... I can send and receive S/MIME messages but I have some difficulties when trying to DISPLAY them with the webmail client. The message is decrypted but not displayed fully... If I read them via Thunderbird etc the mail is ok. So, yes, I DID test it with Spamcop :-)
  11. I got S/MIME support working. So I can send signed and encrypted mails without a problem. If I read the mails with Thunderbird e.g. all is working ok. If I use the Horde webmail to view the same messag in my inbox there is not text visible. I see the message "There are no parts that can be displayed inline." and an attachment " S/MIME Encrypted Message [application/x-pkcs7-mime]". If I click on the attachment I have to put in my password for my private key and another window opens telling me "This message has been encrypted via S/MIME. This message has been digitally signed via S/MIME." That is ok. But then only the last part of the message is displayed and there are no line breaks included anymore. So e.g. the following original text: "Und? Diesmal von TB. Klappt das? Michael -- http://www.urspringer.de " is displayed as " Michael -- http://www.urspringer.de " Any idea what is going wrong here? Thanks, Michael

Did you include the receivers public key into the address book? You have to put in the public key in ASCII format into the corresponding address book entry in the S/MIME field.
  13. Gr... JT was the one I meant, sorry :-)
  14. That is what I did understand also. But, Jeff: What's about the Enhanced Idle Mode on the IMAP server? Any plans to support this?
  15. Not Sue ... should have been "Sure" :-) I would already liked to test the beta version and sent a mail to Jeff some weeks agobut got no response. I just tried again :-) Michael
