Setting up a dropbox with spamassassin

Greets:

I have a number of email addresses that get a fair amount of spam. I've pretty sure that these email address are 100% spam only and would like to forward them onto spamcop if email is received at one of these email addresses.

I used to have my own ensim box and was given a perl scri_pt that would forward them on to spamcop once an hour. it worked great. The problem is now I'm on a rented cpanel box with little to no access to the inner workings. (Yes, I want my own box again.)

It works pretty good with just dealing with the drop boxes. (ie: it forwards email sent to the bogus email addresses fine. I just dont report myself. :)

I would also like to set it up to forward high end scored spamassassin tagged emails. I tried it with a simple forward within cpanel but spamcop is just seeing the spamassassin info and notgoing any futher.

any ideas?

thanks,

-drmike

not that I want to feed into a bomb SpamCop type of situation, but ... can't help but key on your "only sees SapmAssassin info and the "simple forward" description. It sounds like the simple "not in the right format" issue with your submittal. Set you Forward to another of your accounts and take a look at it to see what's missing, mis-configured, screwed-up in the e-mail ... adjust accordingly.

thanks for the responce. Let me see if I can come up with one.

The one time I need a spam, I don't have any. *sigh*

Taken from another account:

When I submit a spam to spamcop, spamassassin has added the following to the spam:

spam detection software, running on the system "x.x.net", has

identified this incoming email as possible spam.  The original message

has been attached to this so you can view it (if it isn't spam) or block

similar future email.  If you have any questions, see

the administrator of that system for details.

the info from the spam is futher down on the email but spamcop is only going as far as whats up there.

trying to figure out a way for spamassassin not to add all that on there.

thanks for any help you can offer.
