Just curious... I'm on the Alltel network, so maybe I've got a better route... I did have to use their own name server to look 'em up, so maybe that's why I'm able to look 'em up when an automated lookup can't find 'em... Nope... Didn't actually try to go there... until I saw your message. So I placed the IP address for the site in the hosts file for my pc here at work along with the site name and tried. Blank page. Guess it's gone. There's something answering there, but no web page. (though wondering if the "#53" signifies something??) The word "resolves" around here generally means something like - I plugged in the URL and a webpage showed up on screen ... meaning that the DNS lookup worked, HTTP did all of its handshaking, the web page code was rendered by your browser, and (usually) everybody's happy. Hmm... dunno if I can insert a jpg here or not. I'm gonna try. It *does* show up if you use the entire URL. Just tried it. I *did* place the IP address in the hosts file, but it does resolve and it does show a web page.
